Yacht charter St. Lucia

Extend your summer with a sailing trip on our great sailing yachts from St. Lucia in the Caribbean!

With our new base in Marigot Bay you have the chance for an exceptional yacht charter. If you like sailing in company, our new two-week flotilla from St. Lucia is guaranteed not to miss out.

The Caribbean Islands lie in the trade wind belt of the North Atlantic

The yacht charter area of the Windward Islands stretches from Martinique in the north to Grenada in the south. The hub of the yacht charter is Martinique with its marina in Le Marin. From here you can start your typical Caribbean holiday in the enchanting Grenadines or up to the charming spice island Grenada. This green, volcanic and mango-shaped island lies between Martinique and St. Vincent. It belongs to the Lesser Antilles and has a surface of 616 km2. It is 43 km long and 23 km wide. The Gros Piton (798 m) and the Petit Piton (750 m) rise steeply from the sea. The Zwilingberge are the landmark of St. Lucia.

Our recommendation: Sail a one-way trip in the Caribbean ! Almost all charter companies offer this possibility. Because of the repatriation and additional flight costs this is somewhat more expensive. The extra expense is worth it, because you don't have to sail back to your port of departure against the prevailing wind, get to know more islands and have time to 'live Caribbean' in between. This means relaxing in the Tobago Cays or in front of Basil's bar on Mustique. Of course, you can also sail your sailing yacht back to the take-over port yourself and save the cost of repatriation. Sail a catamaran in the Caribbean from Martinique to Union Island or Grenada! You can sail closer to the reefs and lie calmly at anchor.

Windward Islands Cruise Suggestions

If you want to sail in the Caribbean for the first time, but also dare to take a swing between the individual islands, then we recommend a yacht charter holiday in this part of the Caribbean as a 'beginner cruise', namely a sailing trip from Martinique to Union Island or Grenada. Navigation is unproblematic: by sight.

For the charter period of two weeks a One-Way-Tour from Martinique over the islands St. Lucia (Marigot Bay and Pitons), St. Vincent, Bequia (Admirality Bay), Petit Navis (whaler island), Petit St. Vincent, Mustique (Basils Bar), Cannouan, Mayero, Tobago Cays (Horse Shoe Reef - fantastic!), Palm Island, possibly Carriacou is suitable. In front of it lies the picturesque little sand island 'Sandy Island' and invites you to snorkel and spend the night at anchor. From here your sailing trip will take you back to Union Island.

If you want to sail a little more sporty, your trip could also take you as far as Grenada. If you want to save money, you should sail back to Union Island and return the yacht there. Unfortunately, you only have one week. This would be enough to sail from Martinique to Union Island. However, you will not have the leisure to explore the islands on your sailing trip in peace and quiet and make several shore excursions. It would also be possible to take over your sailing yacht in Union Island or Grenada, sail from there to the Tobago Cays - the dream destination of all Caribbean holidaymakers - and return it to Union Island or Grenada.
